Paris, France - A delegation of economic developers from Northwest Florida is advancing the region’s presence in the global aerospace sector this week at the 55th International Paris Air Show. Held at Le Bourget, this event is a premier gathering for the global aerospace industry, showcasing cutting-edge technological advancements. The first four days are reserved for industry professionals, while the final three days are open to the public.
Florida’s Great Northwest (FGNW) and its partners met with numerous aerospace executives at the show to promote Northwest Florida’s expanding aviation sector within the Gulf Coast Aerospace Corridor. The region has experienced significant momentum in aerospace development, highlighted by major announcements from companies such as IAG Aero Group, Leonardo Helicopters, Paradigm Parachute & Defense, Premier Aviation, and most recently, a $1 billion investment from Williams International.
International air shows like this one are key venues for economic developers, providing unmatched access to top aerospace decision-makers in one location. Nearly all major aerospace firms are represented, including board chairs and CEOs, making the Paris Air Show a crucial platform for engagement.
