Tallahassee, FL – This week, business and community leaders from across Northwest Florida descended on the state capital for the 5th Annual Northwest Florida Days.
Organized by Florida’s Great Northwest (FGNW), the event served as a powerful demonstration of regional unity, bringing together stakeholders from 13 counties to collaborate with the state’s legislative delegation on policies that drive long-term competitiveness.
As the regional convener, FGNW used the multi-day event to reinforce shared priorities essential to the region’s economic vitality.
Honoring the "Unsung Heroes" and Regional Leaders
This year’s milestone event featured the inaugural Legislative Aide Reception, a new tradition dedicated to recognizing the hardworking staff who support the region’s lawmakers throughout Session.
The programming also included the formal Legislative Appreciation Breakfast, where FGNW publicly acknowledged the delegation's accomplishments. This also allowed for the attendees to hear from the Legislators on their progress made.
"Northwest Florida Days is about more than advocacy; it’s about partnership," said Jennifer Conoley, President & CEO of Florida’s Great Northwest. "By bringing our 13 counties together, we ensure our region’s voice is not just heard, but prioritized in Tallahassee."
