Florida’s Great Northwest (FGNW) has released its latest Labor Supply & Demand Analysis, revealing that the region is significantly outperforming national benchmarks in job creation and wage growth. The findings confirm that Northwest Florida has moved beyond postpandemic recovery and into a new era of regional economic leadership.
Originally sparked in 2021 by a grant from Triumph Gulf Coast, the economic development fund for coastal Northwest Florida, this research has evolved into a strategic "North Star" for the region. The
analysis provides a sophisticated blueprint that aligns real-time labor market data with workforce training, education programs, and economic policy.
